Kosmetik Kosmo Haul

So a few weeks ago I ordered the items you see above, 10 nail wheels (9,90), a brush guard set with all sizes (5,99) and one for small brushes (5,99) like blending brushes. I also got the Pinsel Phönix (Brush Phoenix)(8,99), which is a brush cleaning soap and the accompanying metall box (1,99).

Kosmetik Kosmo is a company owned by Michaela Engelshowe, she has a Youtube Channel KokovonKosmo where she tells news about drugstore brands, their LEs and what she thinks about products and gives general helpful tipps on make up for beginners.
The name of her company is not only the company name but also the name of the only shop and her own make up brand which is made in Germany and without animal testing.
Michaela Engelshowe founded her company in August 2006, with an ebay shop which soon developed to an own web page. At the moment she has the following brands in her online shop:

- BH Cosmetics
- MeMeMe
- Brush Guard
- Wechselklunker (Jewlery)
- technic
- catrice cosmetics
- Kosmetik Kosmo
- Sleek Make up
- w7
- Beauty UK
- Konjac Sponge
- Gothmetic

I've been thinking about buying there for quite some time now, because I wanted some nailwheels and my MAC Brush Cleanser is nearly empty and I did some research for something not too expensiv but good to clean my brushes. I had read a lot of good things about the Brush Phoenix and wanted to try it. So a few weeks ago I finally did it and ordered from Kosmetik Kosmo.

When you order you can creat account which is free and you can track your package. The delivering is done by DHL for 3,95, including the tracking number. You have differnt methods of paying, I chose to pay via transfer, but you can also pay via Paypal, Creditcard, on account (but then you have to pay a fee of 1,50), or you can pay cash (you order and then you have to print a letter which you then take to certain stores like dm  and there you can pay for your online order. I hope that was an understandable explanation). If you order from outside of Germany but inside the EU the shipping price depends on the weight of your package, you can see the prices on the webside. For Switzerland the  prices are a bit different again, but they are on the webside again.

Now let's get to my experience with ordering there. I ordered my things monday evening and got my acceptance of order about 3 minutes later, because I had to go to the bank anyway I did the transfer about 30 minutes after ordering. I got the notice that my money arrived in the night between wednesday and thirsday night and the package arrived friday around noon. What surprised me a little is that it took so long for my money to arrive, usually it does not take longer than a day because I do the transfer with a machine in the bank. Because I was wondering I send a message to the support and the next day I got an answer.

I would still say it was a great service and I will buy there again, and then from their own cosmetic brand to try it. I also like that they have some brands that can be harder to get in Germany. A thing that is also really nice is that they have so many different paying methods, that way girls have the ryopportunity to buy online even if they don't have a creditcard.

I have to say I can recommend Kosmetik Kosmo so far but I will buy there again and will tell you how it went.

Have a great week every one:)

Review Artdeco Brush

Hey Beautylovers,

Today I have a quick review for you about the Artdeco Stippling Brush. I bought this brush a few weeks ago because I don't have one and they are supposed to leave a nice airbrushed finish. I bought the brush from Artdeco, because a lot of their products have a good reputation.

The brush is partially synthetic and and goathair. what I noticed right away after taking it out of the packaging that some of the hairs were not straight but that didn't really bother me.
Before using it the first time I didn't do anything with it, like washing or so. I used the brush with my MAC Face and Body Foundation in NC15. After two or three strokes I had several black hairs sticking to my face, the finish was okay but with other brushes like my Buffing Brush by Realtechniques I had better results.

The brush is still loosing hair, eventhough I washed it thoroughly once already. I don't use it for foundation anymore, because the hair loss is annoying me and because I'm not too fond of the finish.

I use it now for applying my powder and sometimes for blush or bronzer because the brush gives a nice sheer finish with the products that can be built up if needed. I like to use this brush for powder products especially during spring and summer because they give a nice sheer finish which is not too heavy, which tends to look odd in summer from my perspectiv :) If you like a heavy, matt finish during summer go for it ;)
What I also like about this brush is that it is rather short. The brush is 12,5cm long and the handle is 8,5cm.  I really like the brush for travelling, because it's easy to carry and put away.

I paid for the brush I think under 10€.

Okay as bottom line I would say... the brush is alright for putting on powder products but not for liquid products. I also think that there are better stippling brushes out there if you want to get one. My guess is that the stippling brush from Realtechniques is probably better, but that's just a guess from my experiences so far with their brushes.

I hope you liked my review and it was helpful ;)

Enjoy your week everyone;)

Oh and what I wanted to ask you you guys if you would like to see different eye make ups with the Neutral Eyeshadow Palettes by MAC ? If you would like that just leave a comment or like this post:)

March Favourites

Hey guys,

another month is over so it’s time for my march favourites!!

First of all I have a shampoo, it’s the Herbal Essences Hello Hydra Shampoo, I have been talking about it before in one of my first posts. It’s still my favourite shampoo, I ran out of it a few days ago and I bought another shampoo this time by Dove, because the Herbal Essences was out. I had a really bad experience with the Dove shampoo! I only used it twice and after using it, my skin was really dry, tense and itchy! It was horrible! I stopped using it right away, and overnight I put some bodylotion on my head which did really help. When I woke up the next morning my skin and the hair at the roots were extremely dry. I don’t think that it’s like that for everyone, but I know for me personally I won’t buy another shampoo by Dove, but I’m sure I will buy other products ;)

The next product I want to present is the Aok Seasand-Almond-bran. It’s very versatile because you can use it as mask, scrub and a light wash, depending on how much water you you add to the mix. It doesn’t dry out your skin and gives you a nice and smooth skin. It also helps against impurness and pimples and all that. It’s not overly expensive and with one packet you can do several applications. What I don’t like is that when you make a mask it’s hard to spread the mixture evenly and because of that you have to be careful that nothing drops down, which can easily happen. So you should wear something old or that you will wash soon.

My next product is the Face&Body Foundation by MAC I really like it for the spring/summer time, it has a nice, natural finish with a medium coverage. If you have a spot or dark circles you want to cover just use a bit concealer, that works great. Something negative is that if you have oily skin or oily parts you tend to look there shiny quite fast. But just reapply a little powder and all will be well again ;)

The next two products are from a limeted edition from P2 which is the makeup brand of the german drugstore dm. The limited edition is called Catch The Glow and is all about bronzing and summer colours. I bought the Bronze Illuminating Fluid and the Delighting Bronze Body Pearls. I love both products, because you can apply them very sheer or build them up, depending on what you like. Both products fits pale skin very well and is not too orange, which sometimes happens with bronzing products. The fluid seems to be one of the favourites of this LE because when I wanted to buy a second bottle it was sold out.

Another product I’ve been loving is the Buffing Brush by Real Techniques. I use it for applying my foundation and it gives a nice airbrushed and natural finish. I have to say with the I prefer using this brush over the Expert Face Brush with the Face & Body Foundation, because it’s easier for me to apply and gives a better finish.

What I’ve been loving as well is a mascara from Angelic Moments. I got it from an Advent Calendar from Douglas I think. I got it from my mom about two years ago. I only started using it about two or three weeks ago and I love it. It gives me natural lashes which I prefer, it doesn’t really lengthen it or gives it tons of volume but gives me natural and defined lashes. I really like it and prefer it over the L’oreal butterfly mascara, which I don’t like and will post a review about.

My second to last product is the essence duo eyepencil from the Bloom Me Up Limeted Edition. It has a thinner and a thicker side, the thicker one is mend to be used as a highlighter under the brow and the thinner side is mend for the inner corner of the eye. It is a pinkish pearly colour and looks nice and natural. I use it every day ;)

The last products are two eyeshadows from the MAC Warm Neutral Palette. The colours are Amber Lights and Saddle; I like to use Amber Lights all over the moving eyelid and Saddle in the crease and outer V. They are great for everyday looks because they are not overpowering. I can’t wear too strong makeup in my job but these two colours are amazing!!!

I hope you liked the favourites/ review and found them helpful. What are your current favourites??

Have a great week everyone!!
