The Body Shop Tea Tree Flawless BB Cream Review

Hey guys,

so today I have a little review about the Tea Tree Flawless BB Cream from The Body Shop. I haven’t tried a lot of BB Creams or CC creams or any of those creams. But those I have are mostly to dark for me or have the wrong undertone. But a few days ago I was at Body Shop with my mom and I did a swatch of this BB Cream in 01 and it looked really light and as if it was matching my skin colour pretty good, so I bought it ;)

The cream smells lightly of tea tree oil but after applying the smell vanishes almost instantly. It has a little thicker consistency and is really light in colour, so it should fit even the palest of us ;)
The cream is easy to spread and feels light on the skin. Concerning the duration of the wearing time it last about 5 or 6 hours even longer if I don’t sweat it of before in the warm weather;)

What I also really like about this product is that you don’t need a lot of product and it looks really natural, but if you use too much product you can look really pale, white and caky, so you have to pay attention on how much of the BB Cream you use. But with a little bronzer you can get a nice and summery bronzy look

Before applying the BB Cream... have a lot of break outs at the moment...
One drop of the BB Cream:
After applying the Cream with my Realtechniques buffing brush (the light makes it look paler than it is):

So if you look for a nice BB Cream for the summer and are pale all through summer this BB Cream can be a great asset.

Do you have this BB Cream? What do you think about it? Or will you go try it out? Let me know ;)

Have a great day

MACs Sized To Go LE

Hey Beautylovers,

Today I want to tell you about the MAC Sized To Go LE, which was released at the beginning of this month.

In this LE are a lot of useful products in small travel sizes, which is great especially since the summer holidays are getting closer. In this Sized To Go LE they have a cleanser, wipes, moisturizers, creams and so on, but aside from the skin care products they have small Pigments, Lipglass, Mascaras and Nail polishes.

From all these products I got three Pigments in Kitschmas, Old Gold and Blue Brown (which I got because Shannon from Shaaanxo recommended them. Her Blog, her YouTube channel and her Shop. I want to order some of her brushes and lashes in a few weeks and when I have the things I want, I will review them for you guys;) )

Aside from the Pigments I got two Lipglass, one in Pink Lemonade and the other in Rebel. And last but not least is the Oil Control Lotion. I also wanted to get the Strobe Cream but it was already out in the MAC online shop.

Okay now to the Pigments, they are all beautiful, pigmented and easy to apply. At the moment I often wear Kitschmas because you can wear it easily in a daytime look. The other two colours, Blue Brown and Old Gold, I prefer to wear in the evening because they are so pigmented and strong. But sometimes I like to use Old Gold to just dust it over a copper or brown eye look.

The two Lipglass are great too. I love to use Pink Lemonade (a peachy pink colour with a little shimmer) during the day, when I go to work or Uni or meet with some friends. Rebel (a berry purple colour) I mostly like to use when I go out in the evening, but sometimes I like to use both together, Rebel in the corners of my mouth and on the rest Pink Lemonade(postet a picture on my Instagram). Both colours have a nice pigmentation; they are not completely opaque but have a colour payoff. If you don’t eat they stay on your lips for about 3-4 hours, which I find really nice. What I don’t like is that they are quite thick in consistency and a little sticky on the lips. But you don’t have to apply tons of the product so it works out great for me ;)

The Oil Control Lotion is a white watery lotion. I can’t say much about it because since I have this product it was so hot here in Germany that I sweated most of my foundation or concealer or whatever I had on was gone before I could start getting oily. So we will have to wait till it cooled down a bit, but for me that can wait a little longer, because I enjoy the hot weather. But I can say that you don’t need a lot of product and it is easy apply and spread. Also it moisturizes the skin a little and feels comfortable on the skin.

So with that I’m done with my little review one of the last things I’m going to write down will be the prices from the products I’ve bought. I hope you all have a great Sunday and if you watch the world championship in Brazil I hope you have a lot of fun ;)

MAC Maleficent LE

Hey Guys,

so on Monday I bought three pieces of the Maleficent LE. Maleficent is a new movie created by Disney. Maleficent is the villain of Sleeping Beauty and in the movie her story is told.

In collaboration several products have been released:

-          Maleficent Eye Shadow x4
-          Maleficent Penultimate Eye Liner
-          Maleficent Eye Brows
-          Maleficent 30 Lash
-          Maleficent 36 Lash
-          Maleficent Pro Longwear Lipglass
-          Maleficent Pro Longwear Lip Pencil
-          Maleficent Lipstick
-          Maleficent Beauty Powder
-          Maleficent Sculpting Powder
-          Maleficent Nail Lacquer

From all these products I bought the Eye Shadow Quad, the Pro Longwear Lipglass and the Beauty Powder. Since I only have them for four days now I can’t say that much about them but I want to give you a quick review ;)

First of all the Eye Shadow Quad. The four colours are Goldmine, Ground Brown, Concrete and Carbon. All colours are matt and cool toned, beside Goldmine which is a shimmery colour. They are all very pigmented and easy to apply and blend. They are all rather dark so I find them often more suitable for an evening or night out, like you see on the picture.

Next up is the Pro Longwear Lipglass in Anthurium which is a beautiful opaque crimson. It gives a beautiful glossy and shiny finish. I haven’t worn it over a longer period of time so I can’t say anything about its duration. I have to say what I didn’t like about the Lipglass is that I’ve had problems with applying the product evenly when you look a little closer and also it feels a little sticky. But I still love the colour!

Last but not least the Beauty Powder in Natural. It has peachy/pink colour and has a light shimmer. It has a powdery/buttery texture and is easy to apply and has a sheer finish. It’s great to use as a setting powder or even for some really light highlighting, it’s a really nice powder;)

As conclusion I would say the Eye Shadow coloures are nice basic coloures and the packaging is awesome. The Lipglass has a beautiful colour but I will have to see about how I like wearing it and how long it will last. The powder is great and I really love using it.

I hope this little review will be helpful ;)

Have a great day everyone
